Before My Time Gems became My Time Gems, It was known as StrawbbQuartz.

Ever since I was a kid I've been interested in crystals, but I never really did anything with them. 

One day, at around the age of 10 I got 3 very pretty crystals from someone my aunt knows. I loved them (and still do), but I never learned anything about them and just had them laying on a shelve as decoration. It wasn't until March 2022 that I found out what they are (in case you're wondering, they are a fluorite mini tower, an aura bismuth and a polychrome jaspis egg). I was 17 at that time. Sooo.. that's quite a time jump isn't it? Well, I found crystals again through Tiktok and loved them so much that I ordered some from a small business in February and March of 2022. Then I quit buying them again until  July and nowadays, I have a big collection that I'm super happy with and proud of and it's still growing everyday :)

Well, my love for crystals became so big that I decided to start a very small business for crystals on the 25th of August 2022, named StrawbbQuartz. I made a few sales under this name and I was super happy to help others with growing their collections. However, I didn't have many crystals to offer. I decided I wanted to change that and I can now proudly say that I did. 

But I never felt 100% happy witht my name back then and it took me a long while until I found one that I do feel a 100% happy with, which is of course, My Time Gems!

I announced my new name on the 19th of July 2023, which is almost a year after i started my account! It's pretty crazy that it took me so long to come up with this name right? But I guess that everything has a reason :p

Now you might wonder, why My Time Gems? Well you've probably already guessed what gems stands for: gemstones of course! No further explanation needed for that right? But.. how about My Time?

I have been an ARMY (BTS' fandom name) since the 17th of may 2018. Those 7 boys have helped me through so many difficult things, and they bring me so much happiness and motivation every single day (through their songs especially).

I love and appreciate all 7 members but there is one member that has stood out to me from the moment i first saw one of their music videos and that member is Jungkook, the singer of My Time.  ⁣

The lyrics of My Time are about growing up too fast, which is something i can relate to and can recognise myself in. In the song he asks himself “can i someday finna find my time?” and now, I have finally decided to look for “My Time.” I have been working on my self growth, I started working on making my dreams come true, etc.  ⁣

So the song and from now on also this name, will always be a reminder to myself to find My Time <3
